Abu Ubaydah Islamic Centre

Establishment of Abu Ubaydah Center started since 2002 when a group of few people decided to organized and commenced a Madrasa that taughted children Islamic studies and helped them to do their school work and other social studies.

The policy makers at Abu Ubaydah realize that there are a need of having a center that will be used by Muslims and non muslims to learn about pure Islam regardless of the Madhhab or sect.

The center also, will be used to provided specific service to Muslims like Islamic funeral services and alike. This service is available with some limitations when it comes to access and availability.

To have that center that will includes all of the services that we need to have, we either purchase a land and develop the center ot bought a place and modify it based on our needs. In reaching that goal Abuu Ubaydah actively looking for donors to fund that project, and we have established a monthly fundraising event that help us to raise some funds. We encourage those who are attending our fundraising to continue doing so and pledge some cash, in return we will issue a receipt where you can claim on your tax return to get relief on taxes.

At the Abu Ubaydah Islamic Centre we emphasize the simplicity of Islam and the hope it offers without any complicated rituals. We encourage Muslims to be guided by the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad. Along with that, we emphasize to the community to take advantage of the classes that we offer at the center. These classes are available for young and adult, male and female, muslims and non muslims.
