Canbe Foods
Canbe Foods is a South Indian and Sri Lankan restaurant that has been delighting customers with its flavorful and authentic dishes for almost three decades. Founded by Charles Antony in 1994, Canbe Foods has become a popular destination for food lovers in Greater Toronto.
Antony, who had a deep passion for food, set out to share his love for South Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine with the world. Initially, he had only one item on his menu – Roti, but it became popular among customers quickly. As he perfected his Cooking abilities, he expanded the menu to include other delicious items like samosas, rolls, and cutlets.
Today, we have become synonymous with quality, authenticity, and flavor.
One thing that sets Canbe Foods apart is its commitment to quality ingredients. The restaurant only sources the freshest and highest quality ingredients, which are used to prepare the dishes carefully and with attention to detail.
Every dish is made from scratch, with spices and herbs carefully blended to create the unique flavors of South Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine.
Recently, we expanded our operations with a new 20,000-square-foot factory in Scarborough. This expansion has allowed the restaurant to keep up with customer demand and offer frozen items for customers to enjoy at home.
This is a great option for busy customers who need more cooking time but still want to enjoy Canbe Foods’ flavors in their homes.
We are all about providing the best possible experience for its customers. So whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout, the restaurant’s friendly and knowledgeable staff is always there to help you select the perfect dish. And with plans to open new takeout outlets in the Greater Toronto Area, Canbe Foods is just getting started.
So why not come in and experience the flavors of South India and Sri Lanka at Canbe Foods? At Canbe Foods, you can enjoy a great dining experience with quality ingredients, tasty flavors, and friendly service. They offer a variety of delicious dishes, such as spicy curries, crispy samosas, and yummy rolls that cater to different tastes.
