Who We Are

Kathi Roll ?
A kathi roll is a type of street cuisine that originated in Kolkata, India. It is a skewer-roasted kebab rolled in a paratha flatbread in its natural shape. Kathi Rolls are often made with coriander chutney, egg, and meat, although the ingredients may vary. The dough for paratha is kneaded into a loop and then curled into a spherical patty. It’s then pressed using a potato peeler and cooked in oils on a tawa or a pan.
Why Kathi rolls?
The kathi roll is said to have started its life in the Nizam Restaurant in Kolkata, a popular eatery founded in 1932, India. There are many stories about how exactly the roll got started.
