Rose in the kitchen was established by Rose Oguz.
The story of “Rose in the kitchen” is a journey through time. As a child, Rose’s biggest passion was cooking. During her childhood in Istanbul, she learned the art of cooking. As well as learning how to create Rose in the Kitchen, she also learned how to create her own business.
As a chef, she has mastered Middle Eastern cuisine over the years. During her travels to Europe and the Middle East, she took many cooking classes. Her purpose in coming to Canada as a single mother was to provide a better life for both herself and her daughter. The culinary school graduate worked in ethnic restaurants as a private party organizer.
A few years later, her clients recognized her and her food for their uniqueness and specialness. And then she set up Rose in the Kitchen, her own catering company. For 12 years, she owned and operated that business successfully. In the process, she gained valuable experience and developed a recognizable menu for her food. Therefore, she decided to start a restaurant.
Her goal is to serve her clients delicious food combining East and West flavors. An exceptional dining experience where you can taste and see what Turkish cuisine is really all about. It goes without saying that everything she prepares with her unique ingredients is filled with love.
