- Boneless chicken thighs chopped ½ kgÂ
- Dark soy sauce, one tablespoon
- Light soy sauce, one tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- White pepper one teaspoon
- Corn flour two tablespoons
Ingredients For Frying Or Final Making Of Szechuan Chicken
- Oil 250 ml
- One onion chopped into 1-inch cubes.
- Red chillies flake two tablespoons.
- Dried red chillies three tablespoons.
- Sichuan peppercorns ground two tablespoons.
- Garlic chopped one tablespoon.
- Ginger chopped two tablespoons.
- Spring onions 4 chopped
- Soy sauce four tablespoons
- Sugar 1 tablespoonÂ
Start Cooking
- Take a medium size bowl, add chicken, and marinate for a minimum of 45 minutes. Use corn flour, garlic, black & white pepper, and salt for marination. (In refrigerator)
- Take a pan. Please put it on the heat.
- Add oil, fry the marinated chicken till golden brown, and keep aside.
- Now take another wok. Bring it on flame.
- Add oil and onion and dried red chilli. Cook for 2 minutes.Â
- Add chilli flakes, ginger, garlic and spring onions and fry for 1 minute.
- Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
- Mix corn flour with cold water. Pour it into the sauce.
- Cover the pan and simmer for 1 minute on low heat.
- Add fried chicken. Toss for 2 minutes. Chicken Szechuan is ready.
- Don’t overcook.
- Serve with Hakka noodles or fried rice.
