At Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant, you can experience authentic South Indian food from the Karaikudi region, known as Chettinadu Cuisine. The cuisine is famous for its spicy, tasty food. Founded in Chennai in 1964, we use spices to entice taste buds.
Over the years, Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant has come to connote Chettinad dining. Due to the demand for this fantastic food, we decided to take this experience abroad.
Our signature dishes include Mutton Biryani, Garlic Chicken, and King Fish Curry Vanjaram Kulambu.

Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant first opened in Scarborough in 2005. With the continued patronage of the Greater Toronto Area, it has grown to 3 locations. We continually enhance our standards to cater to taste hunters’ ever-growing needs. As ambassadors of Chettinad’s culture, we have cultivated Chennai’s culinary traditions.
