It is traditional in style but has been adapted to suit the needs of modern urban consumers. Traditionally, shawarma consists of lamb, mutton, or chicken cut into thin strips stacked in cone-like shapes. It is then roasted on a rotisserie. It may also be made with turkey, beef, or pork. The Arabic word shawarma refers to a rotating rotisserie, which is an Arabization of the Turkish word shawarma. Originally from the Ottoman Empire, shawarma is a popular Middle Eastern dish that is rich in protein. It is often flavored with spices such as cumin and coriander, both of which contain antioxidants. We offer gluten-free and dairy-free options, vegetarian dishes, and keto options to make healthy eating quick and easy. Everything we serve is Halal certified.
